Post Artsakh capitulation: President Levon Ter Petrosyan, the right to demand an account remains in force. - 2

On September 28, 2023, Tatul Hakobyan posted on ANI Armenian Research Center, Armenia’s first president Levon Ter Petrosyan’s post Artsakh capitulation remark. Serzh Sargsyan, the second president gave his account of the Artsakh capitulation on October 17, 2023. I have already posted my translation of Serzh Sargsyan’s remark (see the link below). The second president Robert Kocharyan apparently has not issued a formal statement regarding the catastrophic capitulation of Artsakh. I have attached my translation of president Levon Ter Petrosyan’s statement below along with the original text. Vahe H. Apelian

“Although the right to demand an account from the Armenian authorities for the tragedy that befell our nation remains in force, I commend the attitude of the opposition in recent days not to further aggravate the internal political situation of our country.

Nothing should distract both the authorities and the opposition from the national issue of providing the Artsakh Armenians with a dignified life in Armenia.
