Today, Father Nareg Louisian reported on his FB page that the Armenian section of the Vatican News has reported about the “Punishment and Justice” play that was staged in the “Immaculate Conception” Hall of the St. Michael’s Armenian Catholic Church in Kessab on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Under the patronage of St. Michael Armenian Catholic Church of Kessab and organized by "Madigner" (Մատիկնեը – Fingers) group of Kessab; on Sunday, June 18, at 8 o'clock in the evening, in the hall of "Immaculate Conception" of Kessab Armenian Catholic Church, the performance of the play "Punishment and Justice" took place, in the presence of Father Nareg Louisian (Հայր Նարեկ վրդ. Լուիսեան), the head of the Armenian Catholic Church.
Bishop Antranig Kurumian (ԱՆդրանիկ վրդ. Քիւրիւմեան), the spiritual leader of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Rev. Shant Akishian (Պատուելի Շանդ Ակիշեան), the paster of the Armenian Evangelical Church, Mayor Mr. Vazgen Chabarian (պարոն Վազգէն Չաբարեան), Representative Mr. Sebuh Kurkjian (Թաղապետ պարոն Սեպուհ Քիւրքճեան), along with representatives of various associations and organizations were also present, as well as numerous Armenian children of Kessab.
Before the performance of the play, all those present stood a moment in silence and paid homage to the memory of the martyrs who died during the siege and capture of Kessab in 2014.
After which the staging took place that was organized by the "Madigner" committee, which was born right during the disastrous days of Kessab, in 2014, at a time when the inhabitants of Kessab were far from their homes, facing a convoluted reality of misfortune and despair. But, at that very time they showed that the Armenian spirit knows how to give birth to a new life from ashes. Five ladies from Kessap came together and gave birth to the "Madigner” online platform, the purpose of which is to encourage skillfully woven handicrafts in Kessab and introduce them to the world market, to stand up to Kessab.
As to the play, it was Kessab native Sam Allikian (Սամ Ալլիքեան) who conceived the idea and undertook all the expenses for the staging of the play, whose author is Anoushavan Simonian (Անուշաւան Սիմոնեան).

Հովանաւորութեամբ Քեսապի Սուրբ Միքայէլ Հայ Կաթողիկէ Եկեղեցւոյ եւ կազմակերպութեամբ Քեսապի «Մատիկներ» յանցախումբի, Կիրակի 18 Յունիսի երեկոյեան ժամը 8ին, Քեսապի Հայ Կաթողիկէ Եկեղեցւոյ «Անարատ Յղութեան» սրահին մէջ տեղի ունեցաւ «Պատիժ եւ արդարութիւն» թատերախաղի ներկայացումը, ի ներկայութեան Հայ Կաթողիկէ Եկեղեցւոյ ժողովրդապետ Հայր Նարեկ վրդ. Լուիսեանի, Հայ առաքելական Եկեղեցւոյ Հոգեւոր Հովիւ Հայր ԱՆդրանիկ վրդ. Քիւրիւմեանի, Հայ Աւետարանական Եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ Պատուելի Շանդ Ակիշեանի, քաղաքապետ պարոն Վազգէն Չաբարեանի, Թաղապետ պարոն Սեպուհ Քիւրքճեանի, եւ զանազան միութիւններու ու կազմակերպութիւններու ներկայացուցիչները ինչպէս նաեւ բազմաթիւ Քեսապի հայ զաւակներուն
Թատերախաղի ներկայացումէն առաջ բոլոր ներկաները մէկ վայրկեան լռութեամբ յոտնկայս յարգանքի տուրք մատուցեցին 2014 թուականի Քեսապի գրաւման եւ պաշարման շրջանին զոհուած նահատակներու յիշատակին, որմէ ետք ներկայացումը կատարուեցաւ ձեռնարկը կազմակերպող «Մատիկներ» յանձնախումբին, որ ծնունդ առած է ճիշտ Քեսապի ապրած աղէտալի օրերուն ընթացքին` 2014 թուականին, երբ քեսապցիք գտնուեցան իրենց բնակարաններէն, դրան սեմէն հեռու, դժբախտութեան եւ յուսահատութեան կնճռոտ իրականութեան մը առջեւ բայց այս անգամ եւս անոնք կարողացան ցոյց տալ, թէ հայու ոգին գիտէ մոխիրէն նոր կեանք ծնանիլ եւ քեսապցի հինգ տիկիններ քով քովի գալով ծնունդ տուին «Մատիկներ» առցանց հարթակին, որուն նպատակն է քաջալերել Քեսապի մէջ հմտութեամբ հիւսուած ձեռագործերը ու զանոնք ներկայացնել համաշխարհային շուկային, նեցուկ կանգնելու համար Քեսապին։
Իսկ գալով թատրոնին անոր գաղափարը յղացումն է քեսապցի տիար Սամ Ալլիքեանի, որ հոգաց բեմադրութեան բոլոր ծախսերը մինչ թատերախաղին հեղինակն է Անուշաւան Սիմոնեանը։
