Vahe H. Apelian
For the benefit of the readers of my blogs, I attached the schedule of the Catholicos Aram I's visit to the Cilician See affiliated Armenian Apostolic churches on the East Coast, U.S.A., and also attached a picture of the church at each location Catholicos Aram I will visit and will be hosted. The pictures and the affiliated information is at the courtesy The Eastern Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
Catholicos Aram I is scheduled to visit each and every church under the jurisdiction of Archbishop AnoushavanTanielian, the prelate of Eastern Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The upcoming pontifical visit will be historic. I do not think that another catholicos has undertaken such an endeavor.
.Each and every church the pontiff will visit is a living museum of sorts, the product of communal participation. It is important that a reporter/s from Lebanon, where the Catholicosate of Sis is seated, accompany the Catholicos. I envision that these reporters, through their reports, will help the community in Lebanon and in the Middle East have a better grasp of the reality of the Armenian communal life on the U.S. East Coast as they will have time to interact with the community members and get to know the church and form a better understanding of the reality of the Armenian Apostolic Cilician See community beyond the attendance during the Catholicos Aram I’s visit that will be at its pick.
