The Armenian Islamic Tribe in Syria

The Turkish incursion in Syria along its long border reminds of the  fate of the Armenian Islamic tribe the late Kevork George Apelian had uncovered and reported in 2011.  I wonder about the 25,000 strong Armenian Islamic Tribe he wrote about. There is renewed interest in the Armenian Islamic Tribe.
