The #1 hero of RoA - ՀՀ թիվ 1 հերոսը

Today, on his Facebook page, the PM Nikol Pachynian posted what he had articulated earlier during National Assembly recent deliberation, stating the number 1 hero of the Repubic of Armenia is the tax paying citizen. When I copied his posting and posted it below; his posting had generated a few thousand Facebook acknowledgments, 551 comments, 217 shares. It appears, at times he has followed the reaction to his comment and has taken upon himself to respond.

“The #1 hero of the Republic of Armenia is the working and tax-paying citizen.

Thanks to the taxes he paid, schools are built and functioning, kindergartens, roads, water lines are built.

All teachers, all soldiers, officers, generals, all diplomats receive salaries thanks to the taxes he pays.

Thanks to the taxes he paid, historical and cultural monuments are preserved and restored.

Due to the taxes paid by him, weapons and equipment are purchased, engineering works are carried out on the border.

Thanks to the taxes paid by him, the soldier is fed and clothed. 

Thanks to the taxes paid by him, pensioners receive pensions, beneficiaries receive benefits, health services are provided to hundreds of thousands of people, for whose services the state budget pays, and thanks to these payments, health care institutions - medical centers, polyclinics and outpatient clinics - work.

A working and tax-paying citizen worked and paid 2 trillion 222 billion drams in taxes and duties to the state budget in 2023, which is an increase of 1 trillion 64 billion drams (about 2.6 billion dollars) or an increase of 92 percent compared to 2017.

I bow to the working and tax-paying citizen. 

His heroism is not noticed by many, sometimes even by himself. 

The government is taking notice.
